Crafted in 1988 by the Burger Boat Company, Inc. of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Victory is a classic luxury motor yacht. Originally named Westerly, her name was changed to Stemac, and again to the current name of Victory. Details on the original owners or when the names were changed was not available at the time of this blog. Victory is now owned by J. Henninger of Spring Hill, Florida. Purchased in August 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, the vessel is now moored at the Harborage Marina in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The first thing you notice about Victory is that classic Burger style. A deep blue hull and radiant white top, the teak and chrome railing on the bow and aft deck, her beauty is further accentuated with her name, VICTORY, gloriously displayed across the stern in red and gold lettering, boasting a homeport of St. Petersburg, Florida.
With an aluminum hull, two immensely huge diesel engines and twin propellers, Victory can cruise comfortably at 14 knots and has a maximum speed of 20 knots. She is registered at 96 gross tons, has a breadth of just over 18 feet, and drafts 7 feet. The manufactured length of the vessel is registered at 80 feet; however, a five-foot swim deck was added to the stern making the current overall length 85 feet.
Victory has seen many improvements and upgrades since 2016. The galley is remodeled with all new appliances, the salon is upgraded with beautiful marble flooring, the master stateroom and bath (owner’s suite) is upgraded with marble flooring. The electronics and navigational systems are all upgraded as well.
Victory has three large staterooms (excluding crew quarters). The master stateroom (owner’s suite) has a king-sized bed, ample storage space, cherry walls and cabinets, cedar-lined closets, a stunning vanity set, HD TV with full entertainment system, as well as a private bathroom that includes marble floors and heated towel racks. Staterooms 2 & 3 each include two twin beds, cherry walls, and HD TV with DVD players. Each stateroom has a private bathroom, one with a whirlpool tub/shower, and the other with a shower.
The galley (kitchen) is newly remodeled and includes all new appliances. It has a double sink, coffee maker, toaster, gorgeous teak floors, and a beautiful teak kitchenette with custom leather upholstery and seating for six.
The salon, with its new marble flooring, presents that classic Burger feel, with cherry wood, brass, and stunning furnishings. The bar, located in the salon, includes an ice maker, sink, and refrigerator. The living room area of the salon includes an HD TV, sound system and entertainment system.
Victory Yacht has Three Main Decks. The fly bridge is on the top deck offering the best vantage point for panoramic views, is incredibly spacious and seats up to 20 people. There is a BBQ grill, refrigerator, ice maker, and sound system. The fly bridge is partially covered providing sun or shade and a cool breeze when cruising.
The bow, or the fore deck, is completely uncovered allowing for 360-degree unobstructed sunshine. The bow is lined with beautiful new sun pads making it a great place to sunbathe, has seating for twelve and is the perfect spot to be when passing under the Skyway Bridge.
The aft deck, located at the back or stern of the yacht, is accessed through the salon. There is a large teak table with chairs, and probably the best spot to see dolphins swimming alongside or following in Victory’s wake. The swim platform, accessible from the aft deck when anchored, is where you can access the water and water toys.
Victory has an array of water toys. There is an island tender, two jet skis, a paddle board and kayak, snorkel gear, and an inflatable tube for tubing. Victory also has a selection of enjoyable adult and family board games and an array of workout equipment including dumbbells, yoga mats, and some workout DVDs.
There is onboard Wi-Fi and cellular service up to twenty miles out to sea allowing you to work from your devices if necessary or to share memories with friends and family via social media. A printer, scanner, and copier combo are also accessible from any device. Additional perks include room-to-room communications, XM radio, 4 refrigerators, 2 ice makers, a variety of water toys, and 6 HD TVs.
We invite you to join us on August 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at our Open House for a tour and experience this beautiful yacht first hand.
